Tona Trondsen has over 15 of experience in occupational health management, workplace safety and maritime support services. Born in Norway to a ship captain and raised in Houston, Trondsen’s unique insight into the unique needs of seafarers has helped her to develop a community-oriented business that remains responsive to the needs of its partners, exemplified in WSS’ early implementation of the International Seafarer Vaccination Program to administer more than 25,000 vaccinations for seafarers passing through the US Gulf Area.

She is also the founder and CEO of Port Health, a comprehensive, full-service medical support solution helping international seafarers access health services on board and in port, ensuring crews stay on budget and on schedule any time or day of the year.
